Title: Employed full time: Usual weekly nominal earnings (ninth decile): Wage and salary workers: Bachelor's degree only: 25 years and over Series ID: LEU0252919300A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2023-01-01 Last Updated: 2024-01-18 9:06 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0252919300 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 1723 2001-01-01 1767 2002-01-01 1782 2003-01-01 1879 2004-01-01 1888 2005-01-01 1920 2006-01-01 1963 2007-01-01 2045 2008-01-01 2112 2009-01-01 2177 2010-01-01 2270 2011-01-01 2215 2012-01-01 2304 2013-01-01 2326 2014-01-01 2368 2015-01-01 2471 2016-01-01 2519 2017-01-01 2604 2018-01-01 2690 2019-01-01 2789 2020-01-01 2887 2021-01-01 2913 2022-01-01 3093 2023-01-01 3291
