Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: 25 to 54 years: Hispanic or Latino Series ID: LEU0253206100A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2023-01-01 Last Updated: 2024-01-18 9:06 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0253206100 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 424 2001-01-01 451 2002-01-01 460 2003-01-01 470 2004-01-01 484 2005-01-01 495 2006-01-01 507 2007-01-01 524 2008-01-01 567 2009-01-01 576 2010-01-01 569 2011-01-01 580 2012-01-01 594 2013-01-01 601 2014-01-01 618 2015-01-01 628 2016-01-01 659 2017-01-01 684 2018-01-01 707 2019-01-01 734 2020-01-01 799 2021-01-01 819 2022-01-01 875 2023-01-01 920
