Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: Electrical power-line installers and repairers occupations: 16 years and over: Men Series ID: LEU0254671900A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2023-01-01 Last Updated: 2024-01-18 9:04 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0254671900 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 800 2001-01-01 791 2002-01-01 824 2003-01-01 801 2004-01-01 813 2005-01-01 875 2006-01-01 926 2007-01-01 1007 2008-01-01 1090 2009-01-01 1026 2010-01-01 1085 2011-01-01 1116 2012-01-01 990 2013-01-01 929 2014-01-01 1018 2015-01-01 1105 2016-01-01 1165 2017-01-01 1191 2018-01-01 1292 2019-01-01 1460 2020-01-01 1306 2021-01-01 1217 2022-01-01 1367 2023-01-01 1374
