Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: Dining room and cafeteria attendants and bartender helpers occupations: 16 years and over: Women Series ID: LEU0254760600A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2023-01-01 Last Updated: 2024-01-18 9:03 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0254760600 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 274 2001-01-01 283 2002-01-01 308 2003-01-01 306 2004-01-01 356 2005-01-01 325 2006-01-01 328 2007-01-01 345 2008-01-01 386 2009-01-01 400 2010-01-01 343 2011-01-01 360 2012-01-01 366 2013-01-01 398 2014-01-01 420 2015-01-01 . 2016-01-01 407 2017-01-01 481 2018-01-01 408 2019-01-01 513 2020-01-01 . 2021-01-01 477 2022-01-01 . 2023-01-01 588
