Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: Insurance claims and policy processing clerks occupations: 16 years and over: Women Series ID: LEU0254770300A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2023-01-01 Last Updated: 2024-01-18 9:04 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0254770300 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 461 2001-01-01 496 2002-01-01 513 2003-01-01 546 2004-01-01 534 2005-01-01 565 2006-01-01 552 2007-01-01 559 2008-01-01 588 2009-01-01 620 2010-01-01 626 2011-01-01 647 2012-01-01 631 2013-01-01 631 2014-01-01 632 2015-01-01 675 2016-01-01 658 2017-01-01 711 2018-01-01 713 2019-01-01 739 2020-01-01 759 2021-01-01 766 2022-01-01 766 2023-01-01 896
