Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: Miscellaneous vehicle and mobile equipment mechanics, installers, and repairers occupations: 16 years and over: Men Series ID: LEU0254671100A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2023-01-01 Last Updated: 2024-01-18 9:04 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0254671100 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 380 2001-01-01 405 2002-01-01 419 2003-01-01 423 2004-01-01 471 2005-01-01 420 2006-01-01 484 2007-01-01 506 2008-01-01 489 2009-01-01 445 2010-01-01 521 2011-01-01 463 2012-01-01 496 2013-01-01 480 2014-01-01 559 2015-01-01 591 2016-01-01 646 2017-01-01 613 2018-01-01 612 2019-01-01 628 2020-01-01 668 2021-01-01 786 2022-01-01 882 2023-01-01 810
