Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: Automotive and watercraft service attendants occupations: 16 years and over: Men Series ID: LEU0254683100A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2019-01-01 Last Updated: 2020-01-17 9:16 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0254683100 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 312 2001-01-01 341 2002-01-01 364 2003-01-01 371 2004-01-01 319 2005-01-01 333 2006-01-01 371 2007-01-01 411 2008-01-01 378 2009-01-01 404 2010-01-01 406 2011-01-01 416 2012-01-01 453 2013-01-01 403 2014-01-01 518 2015-01-01 470 2016-01-01 456 2017-01-01 535 2018-01-01 575 2019-01-01 520
