Title: Employed full time: Median usual weekly nominal earnings (second quartile): Wage and salary workers: Some college or associate degree: 25 years and over: Hispanic or Latino: Men Series ID: LEU0254878200A Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Release: Weekly and Hourly Earnings from the Current Population Survey (Not a Press Release) Seasonal Adjustment: Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Annual Units: Dollars Date Range: 2000-01-01 to 2022-01-01 Last Updated: 2023-01-19 9:03 AM CST Notes: Data measure usual weekly earnings of wage and salary workers. Wage and salary workers are workers who receive wages, salaries, commissions, tips, payment in kind, or piece rates. The group includes employees in both the private and public sectors but, for the purposes of the earnings series, it excludes all self-employed persons, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Usual weekly earnings represent earnings before taxes and other deductions and include any overtime pay, commissions, or tips usually received (at the main job in the case of multiple jobholders). Prior to 1994, respondents were asked how much they usually earned per week. Since January 1994, respondents have been asked to identify the easiest way for them to report earnings (hourly, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, monthly, annually, or other) and how much they usually earn in the reported time period. Earnings reported on a basis other than weekly are converted to a weekly equivalent. The term "usual" is determined by each respondent's own understanding of the term. If the respondent asks for a definition of "usual," interviewers are instructed to define the term as more than half the weeks worked during the past 4 or 5 months. For more information see https://www.bls.gov/cps/earnings.htm The series comes from the 'Current Population Survey (Household Survey)' The source code is: LEU0254878200 DATE VALUE 2000-01-01 597 2001-01-01 627 2002-01-01 616 2003-01-01 623 2004-01-01 650 2005-01-01 659 2006-01-01 673 2007-01-01 714 2008-01-01 724 2009-01-01 729 2010-01-01 731 2011-01-01 737 2012-01-01 758 2013-01-01 749 2014-01-01 780 2015-01-01 796 2016-01-01 803 2017-01-01 812 2018-01-01 875 2019-01-01 882 2020-01-01 951 2021-01-01 985 2022-01-01 1010
