Release: LBMA Gold Price: Daily Prices
The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Gold Price was launched on the 20th March 2015 to replace the historic London Gold Fix. ICE Benchmark Administration (IBA) provides the auction platform, methodology as well as overall independent administration and governance for the LBMA Gold Price, with the LBMA holding the intellectual property rights. The price continues to be set twice daily (at 10:30 and 15:00 London GMT) in US dollars. Sterling and Euro prices are available but they are indicative prices for settlement only. Through June, 1952, Data Are From The Dow-Jones Averages, 13Th Edition, 1948, And Supplementary Averages (Barron'S Publishing Company). Thereafter, Through 1968, Data Are From Barron'S National Business And Financial Weekly.

Weighted average based on sampling of approximately 900 retail outlets, 8:00AM Monday. The price represents self-service unless only full-service is available and includes all taxes. Regular Gasoline has an antiknock index (average of the research octane rating and the motor octane number) greater than or equal to 85 and less than 88. Octane requirements may vary by altitude.
