Data Is The Average Of Price Ranges On Tuesdays As Computed By NBER From Wednesday Editions Of The "New York Journal Of Commerce". Prices Are For Cases Of Forty-Eight 14 1/2 Ounce Cans. Prior To 1931 Data Presented Was For Cases Of 16 Ounce Cans And Therefore To Be Made Comparable With The Later Data Was Converted By NBER (With A Con- Version Factor Of .90625).
