M1 comprises currency outside depository corporations and transferable deposits. Currency outside depository corporations is the amount of currency in circulation less the Rupiah currency note and coin holdings of other depository corporations. Transferable deposits are current account deposits in national currency that other financial corporations, state and local governments, and the private sector hold in the BI and other depository corporations.
