This series reports the share of adults aged 18-64 who use generative artificial intelligence outside of work for personal use. Employed respondents are asked: "Do you use Generative AI outside your job?" Non-employed respondents are asked: "Do you use Generative AI?" Data comes from the Real-Time Population Survey (RPS), a nationally representative online labor market survey of working-age adults aged 18-64 in the United States.
