The Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES) replaced and integrated seven annual business surveys, creating the most comprehensive source of national and subnational data on business revenues, expenses, payroll, and employment on an annual basis. The AIES first published data for the 2023 reference period and incorporated historical results from the legacy surveys to develop time series that provide continuity with previously published data.
