Data Were Originally Given As Of The First Of The Month, But Here Figures Are Pushed Back A Month To Make End Of Month Data. Thus February 1St Equals January 31St; March 1St Equals February 28Th, Etc. The Term "American Cheese" Is Intended To Cover Only Those Varieties Known As Twins, Flats, Daisies, Cheddars, Long Horns And Square Prints. It Does Not, Therefore, Include All Kinds Of Cheese Made In America. Data Have Also Been Checked For August 1915-1931 From The U.S.D.A.
