NBER Computed The Data By Adjusting Journal Of Commerce Monthly Data To The Level Of Kuznets' Annual Estimates And The Annual Data In The Statistics Of Income. The Journal Of Commerce Data Include Utilities And Semi-Private And Closed Corporations Before May 1934 And Exclude Them From That Date Onward. The Annual Data Cover Industrial Corporations Only Throughout. The Series Computed Is Considered Continuous.
