Series Is Presented Here As Two Variables--(1)--Original Data, 1919-1930 (2)--Original Data, 1930-1968. Data Are Based On The 1957 Industrial Classification. Prior To 1943 Labor Turnover Rates Refer To Production Workers Only; Beginning In 1943 All Employees Are Covered. Beginning In 1959, Transfers Between Establishments Of The Same Firm Are Included In Total Accessions And Total Seperations. Therefore Rates For These Items Are Not Strictly Comparable With Prior Data.
