Data For October 1933-September 1934 Were Computed By NBER, An Adjustment Being Made To Eliminate Fully Guaranteed Government Obligations Which Were Included In Data For The Period. Beginning In February 8, 1939, Loans And Investments Indirectly Representing Bank Premises And Other Real Estate Are Excluded. Monthly Averages Remain Practically Unaffected.
