Notes:

This series reports the share of adults aged 18-64 who use generative artificial intelligence for any purpose, whether for work, personal use, or both. Employed respondents are asked: "Do you use Generative AI for your job?" and "Do you use Generative AI outside your job?" Non-employed respondents are asked: "Do you use Generative AI?" Respondents answering yes to either question are counted as users. Data comes from the Real-Time Population Survey (RPS), a nationally representative online labor market survey of working-age adults aged 18-64 in the United States.
