Notes:

This series reports the share of employed adults aged 18-64 who used generative artificial intelligence for work last week. Employed respondents who report using generative artificial intelligence for their job are asked: "Did you use Generative AI for your job LAST WEEK?" The series covers all employed adults aged 18-64, counting as users last week only those who used it on at least one workday. This series is by construction no higher than the corresponding adoption rate, because some respondents who use generative artificial intelligence for work did not use it last week. Data comes from the Real-Time Population Survey (RPS), a nationally representative online labor market survey of working-age adults aged 18-64 in the United States.
