The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices category "Carpets and Other Floor Coverings (05.1.2)" is a classification of durable goods that includes loose carpets, fitted carpets, linoleum, and other such floor coverings; and laying of floor coverings.
This category excludes bathroom mats, rush mats, and door mats (05.2.0, and antique floor coverings acquired primarily as stores of value (capital formation, not covered by HICP).
This category is a subcategory of the Furnishings, Household Equipment, and Routine Maintenance of the House (05) and of Furniture and Furnishings, Carpets, and Other Floor Coverings (05.1) categories.
