The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices category "Pharmaceutical Products (06.1.1)" is a classification of nondurable goods that includes medicinal preparations, medicinal drugs, patent medicines, serums and vaccines, vitamins and minerals, cod liver oil and halibut liver oil, and oral contraceptives.
Pharmaceutical Products (06.1.1) excludes veterinary products (09.3.4), articles for personal hygiene such as medicinal soaps (12.1.3).
This category is a subcategory of the Health (06) and of Medical Products, Appliances, and Equipment (06.1) categories.
