Real Manufacturing and Trade Inventories is the historical series used to calculate INVCMRMTSPL (https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/INVCMRMTSPL). This series is based on the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system, which is no longer published with this release. The SIC was replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), and the NAICS series is INVHQRMT (https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/INVHQRMT).
