Series Is Presented Here As Two Variables--(1)--Original Data, 1895-1915 (2)--Original Data, 1914-1941. Series Called "Wholesale Prices Of Portland Cement, Domestic, New York. Data Are As Of The First Of Each Month. Quotations Are From The New York Journal Of Commerce Year Book For The Period 1895-1897, And From The New York Journal Of Commerce And Commercial Bulletin For 1898-1915. Figures For 1895-1901 Are Computed From The Range. 1911-1913 Data Are For Barrels Of 400 Pound Gross Weight. This Series Was Discontinued In 1915.
