Notes:

This series reports the share of total work hours saved by employed adults aged 18-64 in Business and Financial Operations Occupations due to the use of generative artificial intelligence at work. Employed respondents who used generative artificial intelligence for their job last week are asked how many additional hours of work they would have needed to complete the same amount of work without access to it, in brackets ranging from less than 1 additional hour to more than 4 additional hours. Time savings are zero by construction for non-users. Data comes from the Real-Time Population Survey (RPS), a nationally representative online labor market survey of working-age adults aged 18-64 in the United States.
