Notes:

This series reports the share of adults aged 18-64 who used generative artificial intelligence for any purpose every day in the last week. Respondents who used generative artificial intelligence last week report how often they used it. Daily use means every workday for use at work and every day for use outside of work. The series covers all adults aged 18-64, counting as daily users only those meeting either threshold. This series is by construction no higher than the corresponding adoption rate, because some respondents who use generative artificial intelligence did not use it every day last week. Data comes from the Real-Time Population Survey (RPS), a nationally representative online labor market survey of working-age adults aged 18-64 in the United States.
