Notes:

This series reports the share of adults aged 18-64 who used generative artificial intelligence outside of work every day in the last week. Respondents who used generative artificial intelligence outside their job last week report whether they used it one day, more than one day, or every day. The series covers all adults aged 18-64, counting as daily users only those reporting every day. This series is by construction no higher than the corresponding adoption rate, because some respondents who use generative artificial intelligence outside of work did not use it every day last week. Data comes from the Real-Time Population Survey (RPS), a nationally representative online labor market survey of working-age adults aged 18-64 in the United States.
